Matt Medic is a physician.
He performs on-the-fly emergency care. He is the head of the emergency medical response team within the Rescue Heroes.
In Rescue Heroes: The Movie, it was revealed that there is a medical unit in the basement of the Mountain Action Commander Center.
In the TV Series, patients in stable conditions are not handled by Rescue Heroes, but presumably are taken to the local hospital to recover.
